Ok, so I’ve lost my Sims 2 Pets game(Which is the game my computer asked for)and I have several other expansion pack discs. How do I get my game to start with an expansion pack disc?

Basically what I want to know is if it can be downloaded and installed, then purchase the monthly subscription? Or do I have to go buy the game from a retailer in order to subscribe? If it can be downloaded, where can I get it, and where do I subscribe?
